The Magical Pause

by

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go; things go wrong so you can appreciate them when they’re right; you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart, so better things come together.”

– Marilyn Monroe

What if every experience you ever had in life, was exactly what needed to happen?  And is it possible that the Divine plan, which is always working on your behalf, was guiding you to all the people, circumstances and situations that later turned out to be something other than what you had envisioned for yourself?

BeThen that day came, when the truth of your past experiences became ever so clear and you shattered into a million pieces trying to gain understanding of what took place that brought you to THIS exact moment…

How do we put our fragmented selves back together, or are we even supposed to try? It’s time to let the shattered pieces of a false self fall to the ground, and bask in the energy of The Magical Pause.  It’s time to REST and to allow what is to BE.

Empowerment Forecast

First half of July 2018

Welcome to eclipse season. Eclipses are designed to support us in truly releasing and letting go of the old so that we can get on track with our truth. July 2018 brings a solar eclipse that urges us to transform for the better. To evolve our soul so that we may live a better life and experience more JOY. It is most common that this will occur through close relationships, such as a family, friends or a significant partner.

If you find yourself surrounded by people who are controlling or manipulating, then now is the time to let them go. You must also check in with yourself to see if you have been too controlling of others or of the situations in your life. This is a time for Self-Love and Self-Empowerment. Repeating themes will reinforce what is not aligned with your true authentic self. Let go that which has control over you and come back to your center, as this will increase your spiritual power and lead to personal mastery.

On my own personal journey, I am reminded of the eclipse season of 2002 when I had an awareness that transformed my life in a very powerful way. That year a situation came to light that opened my eyes to a repeated experience, but on a GRAND scale with different people. I am always in awe by the way the Divine Plan shows me and guides me back home to myself. As I sat in contemplation of looking into the past and trying to make sense of all that took place, I realized that the part of me repeating the past pattern was a false self- I wasn’t expressing the truth of who I really AM.

When life throws you a curveball, it’s time to STOP and reconnect to your true essence. Spend time with YOU. Get into nature and just BE. Love what is and allow the magic of SURRENDER to unfold.

The Nicest Person in the World – Understanding the Coveted Sociopath

“The first time someone shows you who they are, believe them”– Maya Angelou

What is a Coveted Sociopath?

Abuse comes in many forms and affects many people. Emotional, physical, and sexual abuses are equally degrading and harmful. One is not better  or worse than the other. They are ALL abuse.

Coveted SociopathThis story is specifically about emotional abuse at the hands of the Coveted Sociopath. According to Martha Stout’s book The Sociopath Next Door, about 1 in 25 people walking around among us are without a conscience, without the ability to measure, or care to measure, the morality of their decisions and actions. Would you know how to identify a sociopath if you saw one, met one, started an intimate relationship or entered into a business contract with one? Most likely, your answer is NO.  Sociopaths are members of our communities who we would never suspect of ANY wrongdoing, who seamlessly blend into society with the rest of us through lies and manipulations.

The Coveted Sociopath is someone that people think of as, loving, kind and has your best interest at heart. Most people will say, “she is a special person, so sweet” or, “he is so kind and loving.” In Martha Stout’s Book, The Sociopath Next Door, she references the Coveted Sociopath as “The Nicest Person in the World,” and the story she uses to describe this behavior will leave you speechless. It is amazing to think that someone can be so calculating and destructive, especially if you have found yourself living through this experience. I have personally lived through this experience not once, but many times.

Let us dive into the psychology of the Coveted Sociopath…

Excerpt from The Sociopath Next Door:

“The coveted sociopath has an inordinate desire for the possessions of others. Sociopaths don’t always have a covetous nature, some are very differently motivated, but when lack of conscience and covetousness occur together in the same individual, a fascinating and frightening picture emerges. Since it is simply not possible to steal and have for oneself the most valuable possessions of another person; beauty, intelligence, success or a strong character; the Coveted Sociopath settles for damaging enviable qualities in others so that they will not have them either. The pleasure lies in taking rather than having.”

The Coveted Sociopath has a belief that life has slighted them. They are living the life of the victim, perpetrator and savior and if you have magnetized this relationship into your life, I can guarantee that there is a match within you to this person. Where in your life do you play the role of victim, perpetrator or rescuer?  If you feel that you have experienced this type of person in your life, I highly suggest reading the story of Doreen in chapter 4 of the book, The Sociopath Next Door.

DoreenThe story of Doreen was one of my greatest gifts in understanding the relationships that surrounded me and to then get HUMBLED and HONEST with myself. Doreen helped me to SEE into my own story of playing the victim, the perpetrator and the rescuer. I know that these intense life experiences brought me to a place where the Coveted Sociopath did everything in their power to make me believe that I was not good enough, smart enough or strong enough. Was I ever surprised when I aligned to my TRUE AUTHENTIC SELF and gained the POWER to realize that I AM the creator of my life experiences.  When I can love what is, knowing that it is all there to serve my highest and best good, then I can LOVE me and ALL I AM. Self-Love and Self-Acceptance will set you free.
